Old Blog Post - Embracing me

Original Jan 14th, 2021

There is no plan anymore.

There used to be one but it had to change. Then it had to change again. Then I wanted it to change. Then I changed it because I could. The plan is dead.

But what does that mean for me? Where does that leave me?

Honestly, no idea. That’s a terrifying but also exciting thought. I don’t have to define myself anymore. I don’t have to stick with how many titles I can add to my name. That in itself is relaxing. I’ve worn so many in my few working years. Yet none of them fit perfectly. Ditching the plan means ditching the titles. The titles are dead.

So what does that leave me with? Well, honestly me and who I am as a person. My soul, my personality, my creativity, and my loves. That’s a lot.

Taking job and goals out of my life what am I left with??? Creativity… Kindness… Analytics… Process… Passion… Taking any job and any goal out of my leaves some interesting ideas. It goes beyond what could make me money and goes into what would feed my soul. What would allow my energy to elevate and excite me again. It’s a weird thought.

Insert pacing around my work for an hour.
